Thomaz has a degree in Product Design from Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado in São Paulo, Brazil. He also studied at the Design Academy in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. He lived in different cultures and environments, hence for Thomaz it is essential the importance of the place and its context, and the commitment that they must have with the service / product. Thomaz's projects are focused on feelings and stories, on developing the details. It captures and reinterprets everyday life, creating simple forms, but that are also relevant and intriguing. In his daily life, Thomaz likes when efficiency helps create a dynamic and exciting mood, lathing wood at his studio in his free moments, coffee with a Portuguese sweet (preferably “pão de Deus” AKA the bread of God) and make time for that precious moment that material research requires.
