who is lota studio

My name is Thomaz Ribeiro Bondioli. I’m multi-disciplinary from my mixed heritage (Brazilian, Portuguese and Italian) to my design outputs at LOTA STUDIO.

I’m currently based now in Lisbon, Portugal.

My believe is that the designer exists as supporting element in the bigger scheme and should never be more important than the design element itself. It’s imperative as a designer to generate feelings, may they be an arousing curiosity, rise questions in a specific manner or for the simple reason of playfulness. My work Motto is: "Always be attentive to the small details and be consistent in how to present them, they are in the end what makes the difference."

As a designer, I have almost 20 years of experience working in the field of furniture and product design, in teams and on my own. I have experience in collaborating with designers and with architects on interior retail projects, furniture, conceptual, graphic and product design. I am always looking to provide the best quality experience, with respect of the production restraints.

 I love drinking coffee and meeting new interesting people, so if you would like us to work together drop me a line and we will have a nice cup and discuss the possibility, no strings attached.
